Greetings. My name is Patricia “Trish” Noel and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate.
Greetings. My name is Patricia “Trish” Noel and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate and a certified NC Forensic Evaluator. I have over 15 years of experience working in the fields of mental health and substance use. I received my bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and my master’s Degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Social Work. Many times, in life, we feel isolated and alone. I believe no one should walk their journey alone. We take the journey together, one step at a time. My goal is to provide a nurturing environment where one feels safe and a sense of connectedness. I work with individuals, children, families and groups, as I provide therapeutic services at the Armstrong Center for Hope. I have worked in the areas of intergenerational complex trauma, drug/alcohol/gambling addictions, sexual assault, mood disorders, parenting, weight loss, grief/loss and adolescents within Durham Public Schools, as a co-located mental health therapist. I use an integrative clinical approach to include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychotherapy, Narrative and Solution Focused Therapies. My hobbies include travelling, cooking, watching the Food Network Challenge (to learn new recipes and cooking techniques), spending time hosting family and friends and line dancing. Originally from Baltimore, I am the mother of 3, a parental caregiver and the “mom” to our family dog, Tzu Tzu.
