15 years in practice

I provide mental health services for children ages 0-14, and I welcome and affirm children and families of all identities and backgrounds in my therapy.

I am a licensed therapist with 15 years of practicing mental health treatment in a range of settings from an inpatient residential facility to therapeutic foster care services in homes, to individual therapy in an elementary school setting, and now in my own private practice. I utilize evidenced-based strategies and approaches such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (for ages up to young adult addressing areas of anxiety and depression), Child Parent Psychotherapy (for parent-child relationships that have experienced trauma), and Synergetic Play Therapy (for children with behavioral and emotional problems - here I focus on regulating the nervous system and assisting caregiver attunement with the child). Together, we work to identify underdeveloped skills, relationship stressors, areas of personal growth and identify development needed. Especially for children and parents our focus is a sense of belonging, safety and connection that is needed for healthy growth. I hope the tools you receive in therapy are useful to you long after you have left the therapy room. Client's of all backgrounds and identities are welcome in my practice. I look forward to meeting you!
