I offer individual psychotherapy in person in Durham (Broad St. near east campus) and online.

I enjoy working with individuals who are seeking lasting healing and therapeutic change. You may be experiencing depression, anxiety, or overwhelm that is signaling the need for a different way of living and approaching your life. You may have past trauma and need a safe space to work through this. Old patterns, wounding and trauma live in our bodies and show up in many ways including in relationships, feelings, thoughts, beliefs & body sensations. We will work together to heal and integrate these through a therapeutic approach that is relational, embodied, spirit-oriented and attentive to the culture and larger systems we live in. I practice from an anti-oppressive, psychodynamic and somatic lens integrated with Internal Family Systems (parts work), EMDR for traumatic memory, Emotionally Focused Therapy for relationship dynamics, and Polyvagal Theory for body and nervous system awareness. I am a bicultural and bilingual (Spanish). I welcome adults of any background especially LGBTQ+, cis-women & AFAB, Latinx, immigrants, and spiritual seekers. Prior to being in private practice, I completed clinical internships at Duke CAPS and the Duke University Hospital.
