Liz’s approach to counseling is collaborative, as she partners with clients to help them create a more meaningful life.
Liz especially enjoys working with teens and young adults, families, and people in the perinatal period. She holds a Master’s in Dispute Resolution from Marquette University, a Master’s in School Counseling from The College of Saint Rose, and a Licensed Mental Health Certification from Butler University. She has nine years of experience in education, primarily supporting high school and college students as a Disability Services Counselor and School Counselor. She has also worked in leadership development, teaching courses on conflict resolution, Everything DiSC, StrengthsFinder 2.0, and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. Liz leverages these professional experiences to support clients during life transitions at any stage. Liz draws from a diverse range of therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Ecotherapy. The specific techniques used vary based on the client’s goals for therapy and preferences.
