Lex Reed

Lex Reed is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Supervisor in Texas with more than 33 years and 10,000 hours of experience in pastoral counseling and marriage and family therapy. Lex received his Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas A&M University-Central Texas. He also holds a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Erskine Theological Seminary and a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. Lex has also served as an executive director of a global mission organization. Having completed a 37-year career in the US Army and US Navy, Lex has an extensive love and compassion in working with military families. He lived the challenges of the military lifestyle, deployments, and the impact it has on couples and families. Lex appreciates exploring one?s spiritual journey and how that journey impacts and informs one?s decisions in life. Lex is a Gottman Certified Therapist (Level 2), weaving in similar tenants of Gary Chapman?s Five Love Languages, as well as trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR Level 1).
