Balanced Nutrition was founded in 2013 with a goal to provide reliable nutrition counseling. Our mission has and will always be to serve our clients as they work to enhance their physical and mental wellbeing while repairing or maintaining a healthy relationship with food. We believe that everyone deserves to nourish and move their bodies in a way that feels good to them. Equally important is our belief that we all deserve to live a life free from judgment or shame around food, weight, shape, health status, or physical abilities. Balanced Nutrition offers counseling for a wide variety of nutrition-related conditions such as gastrointestinal issues, food allergies and intolerances, and sports nutrition. Our primary specialty and focus is in the area of eating disorders, disordered eating, and recovery from chronic dieting. Our dietitians have extensive experience in these areas and are passionate about providing anti-diet, weight-inclusive, weight-neutral care to their clients. Additionally, Balanced Nutrition is an LGBTQIA+ ally and provides equal care and treatment to individuals of all races, ethnicities, genders and abilities.
