Kati Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 2018. Kati?s previous experience includes more than a decade of work experience in inpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs, providing direct care or therapy to children and adolescents. For the last five years, Kati has provided therapy to children and adolescents in a Partial Hospitalization setting, where she gained a wealth of experience providing trauma focused care and helping families in supporting their child enrolled in the program. Throughout this time, Kati gained experience working with a variety of clients with different diagnosis and stressors. Areas she likes working with include anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, trauma, school avoidance, bullying, parenting stressors and concerns, and assistance with coping through life stressors throughout most stages of life. Kati is passionate about supporting parents through difficult parenting situations and challenges and working with children and adolescents with high functioning autism. Kati uses various therapeutic techniques including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. She enjoys spending time with her black lab and cat.
