Dr. Cowan has a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from APA-accredited Antioch University Seattle. She completed pre-doctoral clinical training rotations in Primary Care Behavioral Health at Swedish Medical Group, University of Washington's Disability Resource Center, and Arizona State University's Counseling Services and Primary Care Behavioral Health Clinics. In addition to generalist training, she completed specialty training in the assessment and outpatient treatment of eating disorders, and common co-occurring concerns including anxiety and OCD, as a post-doctoral fellow at the Eating Disorder Center at Evidence Based Treatment Centers of Seattle.
