Dr. Cowan (she/her/hers) uses a collaborative, evidence-based approach to help her clients translate their therapy goals into action.
Dr. Jessica Cowan (she/her/hers) is a clinical psychologist who enjoys working with adolescent and adult clients who are seeking to translate their therapy goals into meaningful action. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based interventions and the power of authentic and collaborative human connection. Clients most often come to Dr. Cowan seeking help for concerns related to anxiety, relationships, perfectionism, body image, and/or food and eating. She also enjoys working with clients who are seeking general psychological support whether it’s processing specific experiences and patterns from the past and present, or having a safe place to discuss day-to-day concerns. Dr. Cowan has a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from APA-accredited Antioch University Seattle. She completed pre-doctoral clinical training rotations in Primary Care Behavioral Health at Swedish Medical Group, University of Washington's Disability Resource Center, and Arizona State University's Counseling Services and Primary Care Behavioral Health Clinics. In addition to generalist training, she completed specialty training in the assessment and outpatient treatment of eating disorders, and common co-occurring concerns including anxiety and OCD, as a post-doctoral fellow at the Eating Disorder Center at Evidence Based Treatment Centers of Seattle.
