Jenny Wang
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
I specialize in helping people who feel stuck or unhealthy in their relationships with loved ones, friends, food, or body image.
When you decide to work with me, I keep in mind that you are seeking therapy because of your intelligence, courage, and hard work to improve your life. You have thought a lot about your concerns already, and my job is to listen closely to build upon what has been helpful and consider new strategies. With your collaboration, we would work towards increasing your sense of internal calm and connection with others. My approach includes mindfulness, self-compassion, and motivational interviewing, to build on existing strengths. I aim to listen closely, without judgment, and suggest evidence-based tools to help you reach your goals. I am deeply committed to providing culturally competent therapy. This means I will strive to learn about your cultural identities with openness and respect to make sure that the work we are doing fits with who you are. I look forward to hearing from you. (Please note that I can respond more quickly to emails than phone calls.)
