Dr. Ramsey specializes in supporting children, adolescents & young adults who are facing traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression.

With compassion, enthusiasm, and deep experience, Dr. Ramsey encourages patients to explore their natural strengths and values in their pursuit of healing. She embraces a warm and authentic approach to collaboratively develop insight into the connections between one’s experiences, thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and overall wellness. She introduces developmentally appropriate skills intended to improve short-term coping and promote long-term resilience. She often works closely with patients’ caregivers to bolster their efforts to provide effective and validating support. She employs evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dr. Ramsey also facilitates several POTS support groups: one for college students, one for young adults and one for caregivers.
