Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
An attachment theory lens and a client-centered therapeutic approach
Hannah is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who earned her Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma City. Her therapeutic work includes two years of counseling in a university setting, providing support for college students, both individuals, and couples. She completed a year-long residency at Oklahoma City Children’s Hospital in a pediatric unit. There she utilized family and systems therapy to assist in developing adaptive coping strategies and healing relational dynamics within families. Using an attachment theory lens and a client-centered approach, Hannah structures sessions to provide hope, integration, and empowerment for each client. Hannah believes that we are all created for relationships, to be known and know others deeply. Often these connections are a source of great heartache and therapy allows the space to unpack and repair the resulting narratives of those relationships. Hannah practices out of the foundational belief that all people are innately valuable and worthy of belonging and healing. She uses her strengths of empathy and curiosity to help clients integrate the pieces of who they are into who they truly long to be. Hannah is trained and has experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups with a variety of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, body image, eating disorders, trauma, grief, sexuality, abuse, faith, and relational issues.
