Hi! Clients who gravitate towards working with me are generally teens and adults who are struggling with disordered eating and eating disorders. With over 10 years of experience working with clients that are struggling with their food intake I have acquired the Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) credentials so that clients can identify me as an expert in this field. My hope for everyone that I work with is that they can have a relationship with food that is free and intuitive. Connecting our mind to our bodies is where true health has a chance to develop. Methods that I incorporate include meal planning, mindful eating, hunger/fullness awareness, and intuitive eating. Techniques that I utilize include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). I am also very comfortable working with teens and parents and Family Based Therapy (FBT) is an excellent tool to get everyone on the same page. Working with me we will identify exactly what your nutrition related goals are and I will strive to make the process positive and enjoyable.
