At LifeStance Health, there's no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health. We tailor our care plans to fit each person's unique needs.

Geof Ryan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 2014. He has a Masters in Social Work from Arizona State University. He has been assisting a diverse population of veteran, homeless, criminal justice, and substance use clients in private and non-profit clinical, treatment, and home settings. Geof specializes in treating anxiety, depressive, and co-existing disorders using a combination of cognitive behavioral talk therapies and resourcing of practical coping strategies. He employs specific treatment strategies of acceptance and commitment therapy and dialectical behavior therapy as appropriate and is trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing for PTSD and other trauma-related conditions. Geof is also licensed to treat substance use disorders. Geof works with individuals and groups to identify and move past barriers which interfere with personal, family, social, and work functioning. He believes that mental health care is as essential as our physical well-being, and that as individuals we all have the innate capacity for positive change.
