Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Medication Provider at Paperflower Psychiatry passionate about decreasing the stigma around mental health!
I am dual certified nurse practitioner as a family nurse practitioner and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I believe understanding the connection between the mind and body is paramount. It is my goal to help individuals reach this balance. I am a compassionate practitioner with experience working with individuals with diverse backgrounds. I’m passionate about decreasing the stigma around mental health. I grew up in a culture where it was not okay to express any feelings and the idea of mental health/depression/anxiety was brushed under the rug. If you're going through this, we can talk about how that impacts you. I offer psychiatric evaluations and psychiatric medication management if needed.. we can always talk about alternatives in your treatment plan such as therapy, resources to learn more about what you're experiencing and supplements if you are not interested in medication. I am able to provide supportive psychotherapy and psychoeducation. I would want you to know that you are safe and what you are experiencing is normal. You don’t have to talk about everything now. I prioritize building a trusting relationship with patients so we can go at your pace.
