Erin Hopkins
Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT)
I'm excited to walk alongside you on this journey to becoming your best self, so you show up in the relationships around you.
I look forward to working with you! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works solely with individuals on various topics. I've been in the field for five years, developing experience with teens, young adults, and adults. My heart and passion are to help individuals do the soul work that leads to the identity they wish to have. To do this, I take a roots-based approach to help my clients uncover the things hindering that, such as anxiety, depression, conflict, trauma or grief. As an MFT, I have special training in relationship issues and use this to help my clients structure the interactions they feel will benefit them the most. I have dedicated much of my career to working with the Black and Christian communities. I prioritize culturally competent care that honors the experience of the minority community. Additionally, research proves that faith and spirituality are helping coping mechanisms in the therapeutic process. I believe in celebrating all parts of my client's identities regardless of race, gender, orientation, or religious preference. My goal is to provide a safe atmosphere for you to do the hard work and develop the wisdom for life ahead of you. I take a client-centered non-judgemental stance prioritizing what my client needs at that moment. I'm prepared to walk with you if you're ready to start this journey. I can't wait to meet you soon!
