I believe that the pain we each feel is equal to the distance between our true selves and the person we became to satisfy parents/teachers in our lives.

I believe that the pain we each feel is equal to the distance between our true selves and the person we became to satisfy the parents/teachers/ministers in our lives. Together we will explore any negative messaging that you may have received from the various "helpers" in your life and identify where you have accepted the message "I am not OK" in its myriad forms. In therapy we will bridge the gap between that authentic and beautiful self you have always been, and the one in so much pain today.
