Danielle Oates
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
I welcome clients of all backgrounds to explore life challenges by having a safe, trusting and therapeutic relationship.
Welcome! My name is Danielle. I am glad you are here. I have been counseling for the past 10 years in range of outpatient to non profit agencies settings. I enjoy working with adolescent to adult clients. I approach treatment by using cognitive behavioral therapy along with solution based therapy. I am a licensed mental health clinician associate with a mental health counseling degree from Cambridge College in Boston, Massachusetts. I am also trained as domestic violence and sexual assault counselor. I recently received accreditation as a certified Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) therapist. I am passionate about helping individuals and families to work through challenges in daily life. Therapy provides a safe and confidential place to identify and explore feelings, thoughts and behaviors to make life more manageable. My approach with a client is to provide engagement and build a trusting and supportive relationship. It is important for this to be established in the beginning of our relationship to ensure a good connection is made. As a therapist it is my goal is to provide a client with support through the process of breakthrough, healing, and therapeutic techniques to move forward in life with personal and professional relationships. I typically work with adults and adolescent children. As I begin working with a client we discuss strategies and skills to improve the challenges one maybe facing. We will identify tools to empower and strengthen you.
