Greetings! My name is Cicely Simon. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Dear Family Counseling PLLC. I received my bachelor’s in science for Psychology at UNC-Chapel Hill and my master’s in science at Capella University for Marriage and Family Counseling. I have experience in providing individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties. I take a systemic approach to assist clients in creating and working towards their own goals. I believe in focusing on and building everyone’s and family’s strengths and truly want to empower families to feel like active participants. I have been in mental health for over 15 years and have a wealth of knowledge in trauma, childhood development, parenting, mental health, and spiritual challenges.
