Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Specializing in anxiety and depression in adolescents and young adults
Anxious, depressed, feeling hopeless, and often in survival mode...these descriptions increasingly fit countless adolescents and young adults. I am familiar with working with those who are their own worst critic and fear living authentically in a demanding world that can trigger anxiety at every corner. I seek to develop a strong trusting therapeutic relationship with each client that honors their emotions and struggles while encouraging them to take their own steps forward in creating the life they want to live With a mix of CBT, DBT-informed practices, Existential, and Person-Centered approaches I aim to create a therapeutic alliance of understanding and care. Do you feel like you're weird or different or difficult to relate to? We will work together to make sense of your unique mind and appreciate the beauty of our absurd existence. Let's embrace the weird and the different and the silly little ways we find joy while focusing on change where it really impacts your quality of life. Can you imagine a life where what brings you joy or moves you toward your core values wins out over anxiety? This is a possibility we can explore together and bring into reality.
