I foster a warm and collaborative environment, using cultural sensitivity, mindfulness, and grounding strategies to explore and help you reach your goals.

Blanca focuses on children, adolescents, and families, supporting them in adjusting and coping with major life changes, addressing self-image and self-esteem, and working with significant others to improve personal relationships. She also treats anxiety, depression, grief and loss, suicidal ideation, post-traumatic stress disorder, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Blanca core values instill cultural sensitivity by understanding her patients’ background, ethnicity, and belief system. She fosters a collaborative environment and provides practical and useful strategies to support her patients in exploring their goals. Blanca has experience working in non-profit community mental health with children, families, transitional aged youth, couples, and individual adults. One of her favorite Maya Angelou quotes describes my approach to therapy and life very well: “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.
