I am here to listen and support you through the challenges life brings in a safe, nonjudgemental space that promotes healing and growth.

Hi! My name is Ashya (pronounced Asia) and I work with adolescents and young adults as they navigate through the challenges that age can bring. I also support BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals. My specialties include working with trauma, anxiety, and depression. When it comes to counseling, my approach is as unique as you. It is a collaborative effort to help get you to your goals. I believe in the mind-body connection and incorporate somatic exercises and mindfulness within sessions. I opened Inner Guidance Counseling to provide a space where individuals can find their way and explore the depths of themselves. We, as humans, are complex beings and there is beauty in having a space where you can be totally transparent with yourself. I believe that everything you need is within you, but sometimes you need someone to walk alongside you or hold space until you uncover it.
