Amanda McCurdy
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
My mission as a counselor is to meet you (or your child) wherever you are in life, offer empathy, listen, show compassion, and ensure you never lose hope.
As a former educator and school counselor, I have almost 15 years of experience helping students with emotional regulation, social skill development, problem solving, relationship building, and coping. From early childhood to young adulthood, my professional development and experience has included learning about emotional disturbances, learning disabilities, foster care, ADHD, mental health including but not limited to anxiety and depression, suicide prevention and awareness, trauma, grief, and so much more. My education includes a Master of Science in Clinical and School Counseling. Taking an eclectic, yet person-centered approach, my goal is to help each client become the best version of himself or herself!
