Alexandra Braswell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with Master’s of Social Work and Bachelor’s of Social Work degrees. Alex’s clinical experience within inpatient settings and her local Rape Crisis Center has given her the opportunity to work with clients experiencing challenges related to trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, attachment, and life changes. Alex comes from a Strengths-based perspective to empower clients to feel authentic, secure, and connected as difficult experiences are processed. She uses EMDR and other evidence-based modalities through the lens of Polyvagal Theory to help clients navigate past traumas, current life stresses, and future goals and worries.
