I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals/couples, other professionals, mood disorders (anxiety, depression), PTSD, and general life transitions.

Life issues are hard enough, but going through them alone or unsupported is even harder. You are not your symptoms and you are not alone. Counseling can be a powerful asset. Choosing the right therapist for you can be a daunting task. I would love the opportunity to see if we are a good match. I have been working in the mental health field for over 25 years and have experience working in agencies, community organizations, and now private practice. My clinical approach is client-centered and includes: solution-focused, CBT, holistic, humanistic, Gottman (couples), trauma informed and strengths based. I pride myself on my ability to create a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship with compassionate and unbiased understanding. It's a privilege to assist you in recognizing your innate ability, build on your strengths, and process the past. I can provide you with practical feedback to help develop new and effective coping skills. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment so that personal exploration, reflection, growth, and positive changes can occur.
