Willena Hayes
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
My approach is warm hearted and person-centered, offering a supportive listening ear while providing accountability and challenge when needed.
If you or your child are working through complex issues related to trauma or family dynamics, I’m here to support you. I work with children, families, and couples using an integrative approach, focusing on how each person’s behaviors and emotions affect the entire family. By understanding these connections, this approach helps family members build stronger, healthier relationships. I also practice Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help children, adolescents, and young adults process traumatic events such as changing schools, divorce, abuse, loss of a loved one, or bullying. I assist them in understanding how these experiences shape their view of the world and influence their social, behavioral, and emotional interactions. As a Black female therapist with a private practice in Philadelphia, I am committed to creating space for the BIPOC community. I see you. I support you. I’m here to help you or your child explore underlying beliefs and distinguish those influenced by societal systems from those that are truly your own.
