Vanessa Lorant

Vanessa Lorant is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 2002. She has an M. A. in Professional Counseling and a B.S. in Psychology and Child Development. Vanessa builds a solid rapport with clients to establish trust and openness. She aims to create a safe space where clients feel heard and understood through listening and empathy. Compassion is of the utmost importance when it comes to this field and at the core of her practice. By allowing connection with clients on a personal level and validating their experiences, Vanessa believes that fostering a collaborative and non-judgmental environment alongside clients is a great way to explore their thoughts, emotions, and concerns. Vanessa aims to empower clients to gain insight into their lives, develop coping strategies, and work towards positive change. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys being with her dog and cat, watching movies, and crocheting in the comfort of her living room. She enjoys watching Bob Ross's painting videos and recreating his masterpieces.
