Tawanda Lewis-Hazan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Behavior Specialist in Pennsylvania who views the therapeutic process as a collaborative journey toward wellness and healing. Based in Haverford, she supports a diverse range of clients from late adolescence through all adult ages, specializing in the needs of those aged 27 to 64. With over 10 years of experience and more than 10,000 clinical hours, Tawanda treats a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, maladaptive behaviors, and relationship issues, whether they are familial, platonic, or romantic. She also has a specific interest in addressing work-related stress and burnout, drawing on her educational background in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She utilizes an eclectic treatment approach that integrates developmental, cognitive, and mindfulness strategies. Her clinical toolkit includes Christian counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), faith-based treatment, family therapy, and trauma and grief processing. Tawanda earned her Master’s degree in Clinical-Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from La Salle University in 2007. During her graduate studies, she completed an internship at the Saint Joseph’s University Career Center and was inducted into Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University and a Human Resource Management Certificate from Villanova University. By fostering an empowered and fulfilling therapeutic environment, Tawanda helps her patients build the resilience necessary to navigate life’s most challenging moments.
