Stephanie (Steph) Koenig
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I work with individuals who are navigating the complexities inherent to psychosis, mood disorders, substance use disorders & the criminal justice system.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), psychotherapist, and attorney originally from Fayetteville, NC. My clinical experience has encompassed work with individuals and groups in a diverse array of settings across New England and NC, to include inpatient, mobile crisis, and detox units, PHP & IOP programs, community-based outpatient clinics, equine-assisted therapy, college counseling centers, and correctional facilities. I utilize an eclectic and individualized approach to psychotherapy, and operate from a psychodynamic framework while drawing from evidence-based modalities (e.g., DBT, CBT, ACT, etc.), contingent on individual needs. My style is warm, HUMOROUS, down-to-earth, direct, and non-judgmental. In addition to accepting insurance (Aetna, BCBS & Cigna), I also accept private pay and out-of-network clients (160/session), and provide superbills for those seeking out-of-network reimbursement. If you feel as though I could be of assistance, please feel free to reach out; I'm happy to answer any and all questions! I also offer free phone consultations & referrals.
