Counselor
I am a LGBTQ+ affirmative, culturally sensitive, sex-positive, and fat-positive clinician striving to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for counseling.
Hello! My name is Sarah, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. I am passionate about providing an inclusive and supportive environment for all my clients. As an LGBTQ+-affirmative counselor, I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, LGBTQ+ identity development, academic stress, life transitions, and daily stressors. I specialize in working with individuals aged 14 and up, particularly older teens and young adults. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, emphasizing empathy and understanding. I integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness to tailor my sessions to each client’s unique needs. I believe in empowering clients to find their strengths and achieve their goals in a safe, nonjudgmental space.
