Samantha (Sam) Flynn
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Hi! I'm an eating disorder therapist, and I believe that all people should feel safe in their bodies!
I practice through a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework and believe everyone should feel safe in their bodies. I believe that the best care should be accessible to all, and this is reflected in my practice. I use an eclectic approach to treatment – integrating Psychodynamic, Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and parts work, among others in my practice to provide comprehensive, individualized care. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, disordered eating, trauma, self-harm, personality disorders, and ADD/ADHD. I am an LGBTQ+-affirming therapist and believe everyone should have a safe place to heal. Recently, I've become trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to aid in healing.
