Regina Hagglund

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with two years of experience across child and adult outpatient care, community crisis stabilization, and substance abuse treatment. I earned my BSN from Saint Xavier University and began as a Trauma/Emergency Room Nurse in Chicago-area trauma centers, where my passion for mental health care took root. I completed my graduate studies at Lewis University, training alongside psychiatrists during clinical rotations that deepened my expertise and commitment to psychiatric care. I treat adults ages 18–65 and specialize in mood disorders, trauma, psychosis, substance use, and chronic mental illness. My approach combines psychiatric assessment, medication management, and brief therapeutic interventions. I believe in individualized care that values collaboration, education, and evidence-based practice. Clients can expect a thorough psychiatric evaluation, clear treatment goals, and a supportive, stigma-free space designed to empower healing.
