I am a Marriage and Family Therapist and National Certified Counselor. I hold certificates as a QPR gatekeeper (Suicide prevention) and Great Start pre-martial couples’ trainer. I assist individuals and families with overcoming daily barriers to live a healthy lifestyle. I specialize in Narrative Therapy, helping individuals, families and couples deconstruct their dominant stories and gain insight and awareness to reconstruct and empower their lives. I naturally view clients separate from their problems and understand they have destructive behaviors influenced by culture, religion, social media, and society to overcome. I have experience working with clients in areas of addiction, domestic violence, depression, adjustments, anxiety, co-parenting, marital conflict, identity conflicts, trauma, intergenerational conflicts, and parenting skills. I also have skilled training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focus, Person-Centered, Emotion Focused Therapy, Structural and Strategic Therapy.
