I believe that the cornerstone of effective counseling is a safe, trusting, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I view each client as a unique person with their own story, strengths, and challenges. As a therapist, I greatly value the client as an individual and view counseling as a means of helping you achieve your personal goals for growth. I believe in treating the client as a whole: by considering the physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual components to problems and growth in order to achieve lasting change. I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I received a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. I am skilled in Christian counseling as well.
