Julie Velazquez

Julie Velazquez is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Florida who has been practicing since 2022. She has a Bachelor in Nursing from Florida National University, a Masters in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from South University, and a Post Masters in Nursing, Post-Master Psychiatry from Florida International University. With her patient-lead approach to practice, Julie helps individuals reach their fullest potential and guides them to a state of equilibrium using a collaborative model of treatment. She is a Double-Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatry-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) and currently a Doctor of Nursing Practice student at Florida International University. Julie conducts psychiatric evaluations, provides medication management and when appropriate provides solution-focused psychotherapeutic interventions based on CBT.
