At LifeStance Health, there's no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health. We tailor our care plans to fit each person's unique needs.

Jared Brown is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina who has been practicing since 2023. He has an M. A. of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and a B.S. from Wake Forest University. As a therapist, Jared's first goal is to create a safe space where you can be yourself in whatever capacity that looks like. Jared considers himself rather eclectic in his approach, ranging from the more traditional talk therapy (psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy) to creating art together, incorporating music, games, and nature into our work. Everyone has different interests and strengths, so let's find out together what works for you. Of course, Jared makes space for the problems and issues you want to work on, but let's also highlight your strengths and what you as a person bring to the table. Outside of work, Jared enjoys playing board games, reading, tennis, and video games. He loves spending time in nature whether that involves going for a hike, taking photos of the animals and plants he stumbles upon, or gardening. In addition, you will likely find his nose in a book or wrapped up in some sort of board game with friends and loved ones.
