Ashley Scott

Ashley is a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years experience helping children, adolescents, and families experiencing crisis, ADHD, anger management, anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. She utilizes cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing to assist clients in understanding their behaviors, thoughts, and emotions while teaching new skills so clients can be empowered to make changes in their lives. Ashley graduated from Alabama A&M University with her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees while competing in two division one sports. She comes from a background in acute inpatient behavioral health, day treatment, and has vast experiences collaborating with schools and county mental health programs.
