Anna Ackerman is a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps teens and adults navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, and family or parental conflict. Serving the Wisconsin community, she offers individualized therapeutic approaches tailored to each client?s unique needs, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. Her approach emphasizes a strong therapeutic alliance, equipping clients with new skills, supporting healing, and empowering them to create lasting change. Anna has a particular passion for working with teens and families dealing with school-related issues, such as truancy and school avoidance, as well as inter-familial distress.
