Alexis Jones

Alexis C. Jones is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina who has been practicing since 2022. She obtained her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University, also holds a Bachelor's of Psychology with a Minor in Social Work from Fayetteville State University. Alexis serves children,adolescents and adults individually and has experience serving couples and providing group therapy. Using the Cognitive Behavioral approach, Alexis assists clients by exploring how their emotions and thoughts impact their behaviors and display in their day-to-day life. With an emphasis on meeting client's individualized needs, she may utilize tools and skills from other therapeutic approaches including Narrative Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Alexis values the therapeutic relationship by striving to learn her clients as individuals, aside from the issues they experience. Alexis enjoys spending her personal time exercising, cooking, and doing arts and crafts. Alexis loves to travel and has visited multiple countries in the Caribbean and in Europe.
